The BWX Christian Community Building experience is designed to create rich relationships with others that are trying to live like Jesus and in the ways of God. This experience helps create deep meaningful relationships quickly and safely through the use of natural elements present in wilderness travel and BWX’s programmatic tools. In the wilderness people are often out of their comfort zones and naturally rely on each other more heavily for travel comfort and safety. Group reliance and trust is also formed through the participants considering who they are and what makes them uniquely special, then sharing elements of the self with the group. People that participate in the BWX Christian Community Building experience are able to grow trusting and respectful relationships deeper in one week than would ordinarily occur in years of time spent together in their traditional environment.
